Bring On The Revolution! À bas Rinehart!

Gina Rinehart will be the first head on the chopping block -average Australians will pay heaps to be the one to wield the axe.

From the continent that brings us war, apartheid and slavery, corrupt governments and famine, we have the $2 a day “African” miner – which African, we don’t know.

AU$2 is equivalent to about 17 Rand in South Africa itself. About 10 Rand buys 2L of milk, A leg of Lamb is about 90R, a package of mince around 25R. A decent pair of shoes, R300-600.

Whether Rinehart is investing in these $2 a day workers or not, for them to be used as a comparison to justify Australian jobs going overseas and imported labour just goes to show how far extreme capitalism is not just hurting Australia but the world. Archaic legislation permits Rinehart to rape the finite resources in the ground that ALL Australians own by birthright.

Rinehart: “Africans want to work, and its workers are willing to work for less than $2 per day. Such statistics make me worry for this country’s future.”

In a country with no welfare benefits they have to work for a paltry $2 a day. Mumma Gina wants all us lazy Australians to work more for less and trust in her unique view of politics to improve the Australian way of life, including annexing the top-end.

The statistic which makes me worry for Australia’s future is that the country’s overall production is faltering from the same aggressive labour pricing that Rinehart is advocating.

To quote the Treasury Secretary Dr Martin Parkinson:

“Our productivity growth, again measured in terms of both labour productivity or multi-factor productivity, has slowed and importantly there’s little reason to believe it will improve in the immediate term,”

And goes on to say:

“Indeed the rate of improvement in the living standards of Australians, or at least that part that’s captured by income measures, has already begun to deteriorate, even with the sustained and unprecedented rise in the terms of trade.”

The two-speed economy is real. While most people work their asses off these days, just to put food on the table, with no visible end in sight, the Gina Rineharts and Clive Palmers in this world get richer for less.

You never get rich yourself by accepting money from the rich.

Shut the borders on all imports and exports. Let the economy implode, instead of spending millions trying to prop up an aging feudal system.  Rebuild the economy from the local centres – out. Our primary producers remain enslaved to rigid contracts in a market with no competition.

Make the rest of the world come to Australia for their needs as the alternative sources dry up. Watch the African $2 worker gain strength when he/she realises their individual value to their oppressors, as the world turns to them for their needs.

Australia should be measured against her ability to produce, not her ability to make millionaires.

Isn’t it funny how rich people believe they are entitled to be even more wealthy than they already are at the extreme cost of others not so fortunate? Why is it okay to lessen the quality of life in Australia and rationalise and berate the workers of Australia by comparing the low pay and suffering of people in other countries. It’s not fair to them or us. African miners and other low paid workers in other countries would surely deserve to be paid their worth and raise their own standard of living and therefore lessen the suffering of so many but the wealthy need to have even more cash than they already do…..why??. That’s my two cents worth.
